NOTES
• To ensure that the tubercle bacilli contained in the specimen are still viable, and the specimen must be transported immediately to the laboratory and processed within 4 hours.
• For delayed processing: the sample can be neutralized using 1-2 mL of sterile 10% sodium bicarbonate solution.
• For delayed processing: the sample can be neutralized using 1-2 mL of sterile 10% sodium bicarbonate solution.
