Creatinine

Used in the evaluation of kidney function and in the assessment of kidney disease progression. The test is also used for screening of diseases for patients with diabetes, high blood pressure or other conditions with highest rise of kidney diseases. Elevated in non-creatinine substances like meat ingestion, glucose, pyruvate, uric acid, fructose, numerous cephalosporin antibiotics and etc.
